Pinchot: He'll Take It

Bronson Pinchot did not win his role as the gay lawyer, Dennis, on NBC's Sara because of his characterization of a fey art-gallery assistant in "Beverly Hills Cop."  "Most people think there's a connection, but this happened a month and a half before the movie came out."  And although his agent was cautious about two similar parts in a row, Pinchot says he, "didn't have a choice.  I had no money, no place to live.  So when they offered me the role, I said yes, instantly!"  What's the best thing about his newfound recognition?  "For years, I had such small roles, I had to fight to get lunch on movie sets.  Now I love signing autographs at the supermarket."
